I vini di Capaccia...

The remainder of the land, about 15 has. is made up of woodland ,mostly chestnut and oak trees. At Podere Capaccia we concentrate on the production of  3 wines:

Quercigrande is a Super Tuscan,made from 100 % Sangiovese.
Chianti Classico , a DOCG wine made from 95% Sangiovese and 5%Canaiolo .
Spera di Sole, a vin santo made from Malvasia and Trebbiano grapes.

Our small cantina located within the ancient buildings of the borgo, contains stainless steel vats for the vinification process, barriques and botti made of oak for the maturation of  our wines, a modern bottling plant ,and every stage of the production process takes place on the estate.

The wines of Podere Capaccia’s boutique vineyard have been appreciated by discerning customers from all over the world since they were first produced in 1983.
